Our remaining time in Vancouver was mostly spent draining our wallet, as we prepared Josie (and ourselves) for the road trip of a lifetime.

Discovering remnants of a gardening business in the back and a rather excessive application of Armorall on every conceivable surface, it took some time to settle her in and clean her up. It took less time to fill her with all the items we had ticked off our very thorough camping equipment list, including the wood that would eventually become our bed.

Before we knew it, we had completed the camping list and the game of tetris required to fit all our new belongings in the cavernous interior. After a quick test of the new barbecue (and some delicious burgers), we were ready for adventure!
